Alex Stitt was an Australian graphic designer, illustrator, director and cartoonist. Stitt was the vision behind Australia’s most iconic campaigns such as, Life! Be in it. and ‘Slip! Slop! Slap!’
SLIP! SLOP! STITT! is a proposed identity for a State Library Victoria exhibition celebrating Stitt’s fifty year career. The exhition title is a play on words of the original sunsmart campaign and the palette of pink and purple is a tribute to his iconic aesthetic. Deliverables include a snakefold invite, microsite, teasing the content of the exhibition, flag designs for the facade of the State Library and merchandise.
